DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a Residential Facility Class 2 Forensic Training for Lucas County area providers ONLY. This training will give operators\, owners and staff an overview of NOPH state hospital patients. We will discuss civil versus forensic admissions to the hospital\, and treatment and discharge for both populations. We will talk about assessment of risk issues and court involvement as well as additional supports for forensic patients (Forensic Monitoring and ACT Teams). Lastly\, we will discuss finding the right “fit” for the discharge of patients i.e. what the hospital needs to know about your home\, how many residents\, is it co-ed\, supervision level\, etc. Do the patients have an opportunity to visit the home?
