This category recognizes the outstanding efforts of an inspirational youth leader between the ages of 14-18. Efforts put forth in this category were focused towards reducing stigma, increasing awareness of resources, and/or support to those with lived experiences with mental illness or addiction.

This category recognizes the contributions and inspirational activity of a middle school youth between the ages of 11-13 who has made an impact with their voice or service in their community or school. Efforts put forth in this category were focused towards reducing stigma, increasing awareness of resources, and/or support to those with lived experiences with mental illness or addiction.

This is a lifetime achievement award that honors Lucas County residents who have worked tirelessly over their lifetime to reduce the stigma of mental illness and addiction.

This award recognizes contract provider agencies, teams, or individuals that have communicated/demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing diversity and health equity goals.

• Innovative recruitment, hiring and retention strategies,
• Creative training opportunities for staff;
• Creative community engagement strategies,
• Innovative approaches to transforming the climate within an agency, community or neighborhood climate towards greater inclusion and access to mental health addiction care.

This award recognizes a first responder who has demonstrated exemplary performance in the past year in providing compassion, care, and service “Above and Beyond” the call of duty while responding to a mental health and/or addiction crisis. Individuals who qualify for this award are employed at area Fire Departments, Law Enforcement Agencies, Emergency Response Personnel, and Emergency Dispatch Personnel etc.
