Mental Health First Aid Training

We are pleased to announce entirely virtual Mental Health First Aid training hosted by the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Lucas County! Thanks to The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services funding, this training is free of charge.
Some things to know about the training:
1. There are two portions of the training
a. The first is a 2-hour self-paced online course
b. The second is a 6.5-hour live virtual training with instructors, completed via Zoom; this portion is scheduled from 9:00am-3:30pm with breaks built in.
2. In order to participate in the live virtual training, you must first complete the 2-hour self-paced online course
a. If you do NOT complete this portion in its entirety by 5:00pm two days before the live training, you will not be able to join the live virtual training
3. In order to receive a certificate of completion, you must complete both portions of the training in their entirety
4. To participate in the virtual training, you will need either a computer, laptop, or tablet with a webcam and you will need to have your webcam on for the live training.
Participants will be registered for the training on a first come, first served basis.
